This policy explains how BarrierTec Solutions LLC ("Hunttec," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Hunttec website, mobile application, cameras, and related services.

Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, phone number, and authentication information.
• App and device information: an app installation identifier, push-notification token, device platform, app version, and notification-permission status.
• Camera and service information: trap names, device settings, motion events and images, system notifications, notification-routing numbers, delivery records, and service logs.
• Subscription information: subscription identifiers and status. Payment card details are processed by our payment provider and are not stored by Hunttec.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate customers, operate and support Hunttec systems, route motion and system notifications, display camera images, manage subscriptions, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse, and protect the security of our services.

How we disclose information

We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate Hunttec, including cloud hosting and storage, push-notification, email, and payment providers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information.

Images and notification delivery

Camera images are stored privately. The app receives time-limited links when it needs to display or share an image. Push-notification services may process an app token and notification contents to deliver an alert to your device.

Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide and secure the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention varies by record type. Motion images that remain available in the app may be limited as they are reviewed, while operational, billing, backup, and security records may be kept longer.

Your choices

You can allow or turn off push notifications in the Hunttec app or your device settings. You can update account information through your Hunttec account. To request deletion of your account and associated personal information, visit our account deletion page.

Security and children

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure. Hunttec services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
